Construction on the office building at the corner of Kingstowne Boulevard and South Van Dorn Street will be completed by March 1, said broker for the property David Stoudt of Jones Lang LeSalle.
The space is 110,000 sq. ft. and is owned by the Halle Company, which also owns parts of Kingstowne Towne Center. Stoudt said 5,000 sq. ft. is for potential retail space on the ground floor of the property.
Work on the individual spaces inside the building have not been completed. As of Tuesday afternoon, no leases were signed for the space but LeSalle has received many inquiries.
Stoudt said many of the inquiries about the property are from governmental agencies, and the questions surrounding sequestration could be the reason those prospects haven't finalized their decisions to lease the office space.

Monumental Realty Moves Forward With Liberty View
Monument Realty Moves Forward With Liberty View
Most of Lewin Park has been destroyed in preparation for the new Liberty View office park.
From the Kingstown- Rose Hill Patch
By Lisa K. Brown
Monument Realty is making progress on Liberty View, the future office park that is planned on Lewin Drive, next to the Inova Healthplex Franconia-Springfield.
The new 750,000-square-foot developement, which will also include a hotel, will be built on the property that was once home to the Lewin Park neighborhood.
Monument Realty was waiting for permits to demolish Lewin Park in March, and the Washington Business Journal reported that bulldozers and trucks began arriving in April.
Natasha Stancill, director of marketing at Monument Realty, wrote in an email that all the houses have been destroyed, except for one. They are still waiting on approvals from Dominion Power and Washington Gas for the last demolition. Stancill added that permits for the first new building have been submitted to Fairfax County.
A spokesperson from supervisor Jeff McKay's office wrote in an email that Virginia Department of Transportation will also be involved in the approvals of the site plan, which are in the process of being finalized.

Wegmans is coming Finally!!!!!!!!
From Kingstown Patch
Legal Route Cleared for Kingstowne Wegmans, But When Will It Open?
Wegmans was initially blocked by stormwater management lawsuit
By Will Sommer
September 29, 2011
The legal path is clear for the Kingstowne Wegmans, but the supermarket company doesn't know when the location will open.
Construction of the Hilltop Village shopping center at Beulah and Telegraph, where the Wegmans will be built, was held up by a lawsuit until recently. Glenn S. Ovrevik, who lives near the proposed site, filed the lawsuit over a proposed stormwater pond that was part of the Hilltop Village plan.
Ovrevik's lawsuit headed to the Virginia Supreme Court, before having an appeal rejected last month, as first reported in the Washington Business Journal.
Although Ovrevik has the option to request that the Virginia Supreme Court to reconsider his appeal, his attorney, Zachary Williams, told Patch that Ovrevik won't.
While the lawsuit is over, however, Wegmans said it does not know when the store will open. A Wegmans spokeswoman told Patch last week that the company is in discussions with the site's developer, C & E Real Estate Services.
In April, Hilltop Village's site plan received approval.
